I introduced Rilakkuma 4kuma Manga in last post. The book was released in 2010. And  Rilakkuma 4kuma Manga2 was released in 2011. These two books are popular in Japan now! I guess Rilakkuma 4kuma Manga3 will be released in this year.

Today I’ll introduce Rilakkuma 4kuma manga2!

• The cover: Rilakkuma is sleeping and he spills some food.
• The back cover: Kiiroitori clean the food that he leaves.

Now on Sale!

1. Kiiroitori looks into a fly sheet of spring sale.
2. Kiiroitori said to Rilakkuma “This yellow bean bag pillow is so old. You should dispose this.”
3. Kiiroitori said “the new one is not expensive now.” but Rilakkuma resists to buy a new one.
4. Rilakkuma lies on the yellow pillow he looks feeling good and said “This battered pillow is more comfortable.”

April Fool

1. Rilakkuma says “My ears are made of castella.” (He said same thing In 4kuma Manga1! And Korilakkuma and Kiiroitorii bit his ears and found this is not true.)
2. Korilakkuma and Kiiroitori say “Same joke again…” Rilakkuma says “Here!”
3. Korilakkuma and Kiiroitori smell his ears and say “Sweet smell!”
4. And Korilakkuma and Kiiroitori bite his ears again! Rilakkuma says “I put vanilla essence on my ears.” He looks satisfied.

Hope

1. Korilakkuma has his stuffed penguin. The stuffed penguin looks dirty and says “Because I’m getting dirty…”
2. Korilakkuma washes the penguin and the penguin says “He washes me…”
3. Korilakkuma drys the penguin outside and the penguin says “He drys me.”
4. And the stuffed penguin says “But I hope he drys me inside because I have an allergy to pollen.”

Many people have an allergy to pollen in Japan. It starts in March and ends in May. I didn’t know the stuffed penguin has an allergy to pollen too! I hope Korilakkuma drys him inside in spring!

Oranges

1. Kiiroitori finds Korilakkuma eats oranges.Kiiroitori said “Ah!”
2. Kiiroitori says to Korilakkuma “You eats too much oranges.”
3. Kiiroitori says “Your hands will get yellow if you eats oranges too much.”
4. Rilakkuma looks his yellow hands… He thinks about the reason his hands are yellow.

I don’t know it’s true or not. Maybe just a superstitions. But many people says ”Your hands will get yellow if you eats oranges too much.” in Japan from long ago.

And this book is a flip book too! There also have many cute pictures on the bottom of this book. The story is…Korilakkuma puts Kiiroitori on a pancake and throw the pancake! Kiiroitori  and pancake fly to Rilakkuma. And Rilakkuma eats pancake that Kiiroitorii ride on. And Kiiroitori flies by himself! He says “I could fly!” But then Kiiroitori falls down… Poor Kiiroitori…

There are about 100 episodes in this book. I could know more about their characters through this Rilakkuma 4kuma Manga series. I hope Rilakkuma 4kuma Manga 3 will be released soon! Then I can introduce more about their life from these series!

Hi! Long time no see! Actually I went to NYC with my Rilakkuma last week. NYC is very exciting city! I love there! I took pictures of my Rilakkuma in NYC but he was almost in my bag because I ashamed of my Rilakkuma… Hahaha

Today I’ll introduce “Rilakkuma 4kuma manga”! Do you know yonkoma? yon means 4, koma means panel in Japanese. yonkoma is a comic-strip format, generally consists of gag comic strips within four panels of equal size ordered from top to bottom. So “Rilakkuma 4kuma manga” means Rilakkuma’s yonkoma. These yonkoma were serialized on Shufu-to-seikatsusha web site. And now two books have been released.

The contents are so cute! But I think Rilakkuma seikatsu series are more meaningful. Some contents are related to Japanese seasonal event so it’s a little difficult to understand what does that mean. But through “4kuma manga” we can see their happy and lazy life!

Now I will introduce some of my favorite episodes from “4kuma manga 1″!

Nice to meet you!

1. Rilakkuma lies down on his favorite yellow bean bag pillow and said “Nice to meet you. I’m Rilakkuma.
2. “Ah,my ears are made of castella.”
3. Korilakkuma and Kiiroitori bite his ears! Rilakkuma said “Ah!”
4. His ears are messed up and Rilakkuma said “Sorry, it’s joking.”

Nightmare

1. Korilakkuma wake up and cry because he had a nightmare.
2. Korilakkuma found Rilakkuma and Kiiroitori was sleeping.
3. Korilakkuma turn on the light. Kiiroitori awake! Rilakkuma is still sleeping.
4. Korilakkuma wants to Kiiroitori to be awake till Korilakkuma fell asleep. Kiiroitori said “Ah, should I watch you till you fell asleep…?” Rilakkuma is still sleeping.

We can see Korilakkuma is so coward, Kiiroitori is so good to Korilakkuma and Rilakkuma loves sleeping so much!

Adventure

1. The radio controlled duck is running and said “Hi, I’m  the radio controlled duck. I’m running!”
2. He is running on Rilakkuma and said “Go! Go!”
3. He try to fly from Rilakkuma’s head! “Fly to the future!”
4. But he fall down on Kiiroitori’s head…

I didn’t know Korilakkuma’s toys are also alive! I love their talk! I think they are became dirty  because Korilakkuma loved them so much! He takes them every where with him!

And there are cute pictures on the bottom of this book.  We can enjoy these pictures as a flip book! The story: Rilakkuma has so many dangos and throw the dangos. Kiiroitori catches the dangos with a spit. But he can’t catch every dangos because of too many dangos.
